Dr. Allison Lee
Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology
Dr. Allison Lee’s research focuses on the incorporation of simulation and serious gaming technology in medical education. Her clinical research focuses the analgesic effects of drugs in labor and for cesarean delivery, and pregnancy-related hemodynamic responses in women undergoing cesarean delivery.
She is the recipient of the 2016 Gertie Marx Education and Research Grant, a competitive $100,000 award from the Society of Obstetric Anesthesiology and Perinatology (SOAP) for a proposal to develop a serious video game and assess its efficacy to teach novice CA1 residents the knowledge and skills related to the management of an obstetric emergency.
