Dr. Anthony J. Schramm, MD is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Assistant Attending within the Divisions of Cardiac Anesthesiology and General Anesthesiology at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center in the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. Dr. Anthony Schramm was a Clinical Fellow in Adult Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. Dr. Schramm is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the Medical Society of the State of New York. His professional interests focus on anesthesiology. In addition, he serves as a Chief Resident Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian, Columbia University Medical Center, and is a member of the Anesthesiology Department Quality Assurance / Quality Improvement Committee. He was recently honored with the New Visions Distinguished Alumni Award for success in postgraduate endeavors and ongoing mentorship of students.
